GFC inks distribution agreement with Innotec Motion print

May 17, 2018, Siauliai LithuaniaGFC (Global Furniture Components), Lithuania based specialist supplier of functional furniture hardware, has reached an agreement to add Innotec-Motion mechanism line to its product portfolio for distribution to furniture producers across Scandinavia, Baltic States, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia and part of Poland.

 

Innotec-Motion, headquartered in Lippstadt, Germany is one of the fastest growing mechanism developers in the world, currently focused primarily on designing functions for modern reclining chairs.

 

True to its name, Innotec is also known for many innovative solutions it creates exclusively for some of the Europe’s most famous upholstery brands.  

 

“We are very excited to have this opportunity to work with Innotec” said  Leonas Kontvainis, managing partner of GFC. “Michael (Mr. Mackert) is one of a very few true furniture mechanism designers and he is also extremely talented when it comes down to science of kinematics. We are thrilled to bring his ideas to our markets, they will open new design opportunities for our customers”.

At the beginning GFC will focus on two most popular mechanism lines: Bonn and Wurzburg. These chair mechanisms include gas lift assisted, motorized and lifter versions and are all available in same frame. New mechanisms should be readily available from GFC warehouse by August of 2018. Additional products will be introduced to collection after 2019 Interzum Cologne exhibition.
